So many of my regulars asked me how I was feeling at the last market in Downtown Gilbert, and I said, "Just like, really, really sentimental."
September 27th was the last market at the downtown Gilbert location, and wouldn't you know, it rained.
But before it rained, we met outside of Crooked Sky Farms for a group photo. I really thought maybe fifteen to twenty vendors would come. But we set up our frame and waited a few minutes, and then I saw vendors start to walk over, and it actually took my breath away for a moment. We've never gathered in one big group like this before, and it was really just so beautiful.
By total coincidence, we weren't able to get a spot at our regular market at Uptown, so since we were both at Gilbert, I also got to go around with my camera and document our last day in downtown, with a special focus on the dogs, who I will miss dearly. 🐶
So one day, we will all say, "Remember back when the market was under the water tower?" 🩵
